Can the cleaner be used in different pools, such as a vinyl pool liner? Would it need to be remapped each time?
Yes, the Genkinno P1 works great for different pool types and adapts easily to different pool shapes and sizes. It also features an anti-collision strip design to protect your swimming pool walls.
Does the cleaner pick up sand?
Yes, it does. It picks up leaves, dirt, sand, bugs, pet hair, and more.
Is the cleaner suitable for above-ground pools with a slight dip in the center?
If the dip does not exceed a 15-degree slope, the cleaner will be perfectly fine for such pools.
Is the charger compatible with 220v outlets?
Yes, the charger is compatible with 220v outlets.
How do I clean the tank? Are there any videos or pictures available for reference?
To clean the tank, simply remove it from the robotic pool cleaner and rinse it with clean water. There are videos and pictures available in our tutorial section for reference.
Does the new 2023 model pick up algae?
The new 2023 model of the Genkinno P1 has improved cleaning capabilities that allows it to loosen algae for easier removal.
How long does it take to charge?
It takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge the unit.

There are no lights displayed while charging. How can I tell if the cleaner is fully charged or charging?
If the lights on the charger don’t turn on while charging, try unplugging and re-plugging the charger. If the problem still exists, contact us for further assistance.
Does it clean the sides of the pool?
No, the cleaner is only designed to clean the bottom of the pool.
Can the device clean pool walls or water lines?
No, the cleaner is only designed to clean the bottom of the pool.
Is it necessary to calibrate the compass?
The cleaner is a complete plug-and-play device. However, if the device’s pathing becomes abnormal over time, you may need to recalibrate the compass. Please refer to our tutorial to see how this simple process is carried out.
Does the P1 require a remote controller to operate it?
No. When the cleaner is turned on, it’s in auto mode by default, and will automatically begin cleaning the swimming pool.
How large of a swimming pool can be cleaned?
Due to its battery capacity, the cleaner is only suitable for swimming pools with a size of up to 1614 sq. ft (150m²); otherwise, the cleaning ability will be affected.
How deep underwater can it work?
Because the floating cable is 2 meters, in order to keep the cleaner running properly, we suggest a max depth of no greater than 2 meters (about 6.6 feet).
How do I safely remove my cleaner from the water?
After cleaning, the device will automatically park poolside. Gently pull on the floating cable to bring your cleaner to the surface of the pool to remy'e'pove it.
Why does the compass require calibration?
Compass calibration is important to ensure efficient operation. If calibration is abnormal or incomplete, it may lead to aberrations or abnormalities in the cleaner’s path.
How often should I clean the filter?
It is highly recommended to clean the filter basket after each cleaning cycle.
Can the P1 clean pool walls and the waterline?
This cleaner is designed to clean the bottom of a pool underwater. It can not sufficiently clean the walls or the waterline.
What is the runtime of the P1? How long does it take to fully charge?
Thanks to safe, fast-charging technology, it takes approximately three hours to fully charge the cleaner. Once fully charged, it can provide up to four hours of use, enough to clean most pools several times over.
